I received a SCAM phone call from this number. It was at first a female voice crying and screaming “It’s me, I’m bleeding!” Over and over. I repeatedly asked “WHO?” But she would only say “it’s me”
Then a man came on the phone and very calmly said that he had just let her use his phone to call 911 and her emergency contact, and that she had been in an accident and was probably about to die. I asked where they were. He said “Idk, in the ATL” I asked who it was and he said “She’s probably 28-29, light skin, brown hair and eyes, she says she’s one of your sisters.”
At this point I knew it was a scam. I said “Oh, well I don’t have any sisters.” (I have one, but again at this point I was certain it was a scam) he says “Oh, do you have daughters then?” I said NOPE, followed by quite a few choice words that I won’t post here. 😡
This has gotten beyond ridiculous. For a couple of moments, Ronnie and I were both in a panic. A few months ago, my grandmother received a similar call about her grandson being in an accident.
